An overview document (white paper) summarizes the results of evaluations conducted in 2019 and 2020 on the suitability of Elster's Gas metering technology for operation with natural gas containing ≤ 10 mol% and ≤ 20 mol% hydrogen, as well as for operation with pure hydrogen. So far, these assessments have been carried out exclusively at Honeywell's GAS Center-of-Excellence in Mainz, Germany. Official MID or PED certifications cannot be carried out at present, as neither relevant criteria nor certification laboratories are available.
